Wedding theme:

We didn't really incorporate a theme, but the flowers were white and most everything 

else was neutral except for the bridesmaid dresses, which were ocean. I wanted it to be elegant, but 

still laid back.  We tried to use many of our favorite things from our relationship, our travels and our 

childhood memories in most of the wedding details, which I think portrayed Carson and me perfectly.

What was your experience at Casa de Novia:

 Luvi and her team are incredible! From the moment I  stepped in the store, I knew the experience was not like any other bridal store I had been to.  Every aspect of the process was effortless, and the service and support was top notch. Luvi even had the dress shipped to her store for me to try on. Luvi and her entire staff stand by the dresses and do everything they can to ensure its perfect. Luvi and Maria were on “stand by” the wedding day to ensure the tulle skirt length was just right, which was comforting. 

Your Love story:

Carson and I met through one of my best friends. She met him one night and decided we had to meet. He was hesitant at first, but when she said my name, he realized I was the very same girl one of his best friend’s wives wanted to introduce to him as well. We went to dinner that very next week. We dated a little over a year before we got engaged. We both love to travel and experience different cultures so it was no surprise our engagement would happen on a trip. While watching the sunset on a boat cruise in southern France, Carson asked me to marry him.

If you are inspired by the glitz and glamour of the great Gatsby movie but just want a little touch on your wedding. A great option for that little Gatsby touch on your wedding day is to add something special to your hair. The Gatsby hair is all about luxury especially because of the beautiful hair bands  and hair pins, most of them made out of beautiful Swarovski crystals. Wedding theme? Classic style with modern touches. We mixed all white flowers with lots of texture and

materials: metal, milk glass, Lucite, and mirrors.

Designer and name of gown? Monique Lhullier, Flavia

Wedding gown style? I wanted a classic silhouette, but with surprising details. I also wanted something

lightweight and easy to move in. I loved the beaded corset top and the silk flower petals sewn onto the

skirt. Although it looked like a lot of dress, it was as light as a feather and extremely comfortable.

What was your experience at Casa de Novia: Luvi and Carmen stole my heart. They made wedding dress

shopping a dream, and made me look forward to every appointment. The service and support they

provided far exceeded my expectations.

Your Love story: Doug and I went to the same high school, grew up in the same community, and should

have met long before we did, but because of a little bit of an age gap, we never knew each other. In

2005, I was with friends at a bar, and we ran into a group of guys we knew. Doug was the only one I

didn’t know. We couldn’t believe how many friends we had in common and yet we’d never met. Shortly

after that, we became inseparable. After 5 years together, Doug proposed to me in a private room,

surrounded by candles and flowers, after playing a movie he’d made about our relationship. He even

flew my best friend in from New York as a surprise. We capped off an amazing dinner with family with

a gathering at his parent’s house for our closest friends. Though we were together a long time before

getting married, I knew I was going to marry him the night we met.
